James Franklin Nabors, 68, of 432 Circle Drive, husband of Marilyn June Chrisley Nabors, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA. Born in Greenwood County, he was a son of the late Drayton Oscar Nabors and Margaret Elizabeth Nickles Nabors. James was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and retired from Lowes. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Buddy Nabors, Drayton Nabors, Albert Nabors and Bobby Nabors and by a sister Martha Pickell. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two daughters: Cindy and husband Derek Kinney of Greenwood and Tina Nabors of Ninety Six; three sisters: Gladys Ouzts of Kirksey, Bernice White and Elizabeth Vines, both of Greenwood; two brothers Billy Nabors and Carl Nabors, both of Greenwood; and three grandchildren: Ashtyn and Ben Kinney and Lily Nabors. Pallbearers will be Carroll Lee Chrisley, Derek Kinney, Ray Kinney, Venoy Chrisley, Woody Smith and Danny Tyler. The family is at the home.
