Janice "Jan" Shaw, 65, of Greenwood, beloved wife of Terry Shaw, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025.

Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Frank Welborn Whitt and Alice Conwell Whitt Tate. Janice was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and worked for Greenwood Mills for many years. She was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was a "jack of all trades" and loved working in her yard and taking care of her chickens. Her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children: Shannon Provan, Michelle Woodard, Wayne Summers, Alden Shaw, Addy Shaw, and Charlee Trotter; sister, Gail Coursey (Chuck); eight grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Dale Whitt and Frank Welborn Whitt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jan's account at Harley Funeral Home, PO Box 777, Greenwood, SC 29648.

The family will hold a memorial service at 4pm on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
