Frances Jane Sumerel Alexander, 67, of 210 Larkin Drive, widow of James Franklin Alexander, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Ithiel Benjamin and Ruth Hughes Sumerel. She attended Durst Avenue Church of God Church. Surviving are three daughters, Ruthie Roberts (David) of Greenwood, Heather Alexander of Greenwood and Kayla Jayne Alexander of the home; three brothers, Michael Sumerel (Jean) of North Augusta, Marvin Sumerel (Elizabeth) of Greenwood, Wayne Sumerel (Becky) of Greenwood; and four grandchildren, Amanda Jones, Bubba Fuller, Sydney and Taylor Roberts, all of Greenwood. She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Sumerel and a sister, Becky Minick. Pallbearers will be Tony Minick, Rodney Jones, David Roberts, Keenan Tallent, Bubba Fuller, and Harold Goff.
