Jane Johnson Sandt, 75, of McCormick, beloved wife of Josh Sandt, lost her battle with leukemia on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Hospice and Palliative Hospice Care of Piedmont.

Born in Big Stone Gap, VA, she was the daughter of the late G. J. Johnson, Sr. and Eunice Fair Johnson. Jane was a retired RN from Queen Annes County Health Department in Maryland and was a member of Lutheran Church by the Lake.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 55 years of the home are two sons, Joshua L. Sandt, Jr. (Amy) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Jason B. Sandt (Tura) of Richmond Hill, GA; two brothers, G. J. Johnson, Jr. and Gary H. Johnson (Betty), both of Cincinnati, OH; and eight grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Lutheran Church by the Lake with the Pastor James Kinsler officiating.
