Janet Elizabeth Stembridge Simpson, 85, of 107 Williams Hilltop Road, Ninety Six, widow of Nathan Alonzo Simpson, Sr., died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Cook County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Burie Washington and Lou Ola Baker Stembridge. She was a member of First Damascus Baptist Church. Surviving is a son, with whom she made her home, Jansen A. �Jan� Simpson (Liz) of Ninety Six; 9 grandchildren, Vanesa Mountz (Sam), Sissie Shepperd (James), Tammy Johnson, Kim Morris (Jimi), Joe Simpson (Nancy), Mandy Crouch (John), Mike Simpson (Temple), Chris Simpson (Brooke) and Lacey Rowe (Justin); 19 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
