Obituary
Janice Ross Mitchell, 83, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Willerbe Willis Ross and Lessie Lucas Ross. Janice worked at Wingard's Pharmacy for several years and was an avid Gamecock fan. She loved Nascar and in her younger years she enjoyed gardening. Janice was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by her children, Terri Tipton and Todd Mitchell; and a brother Phillip Ross.
Surviving are her caretaker and former husband, Jerry Mitchell (Linda); grandchildren, Alexandra and Connor Mitchell; and special friends, Jackie, "Mom" and Annette.
No services are planned.
