James "JB" Miller Brown, 65, of 4218 Highway 25 North, Hodges, husband of Robin Hawkins Brown, died Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his home.
Born in Augusta, he was the son of the late Franklin Rudolph Brown and Dorothy Anne Strother Brown. JB was in the National Guard and was a former crane operator with BL Herbert. He was a member of Matthews Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Jeremy Brown.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are two children, John Franklin Brown (Brooklynn Roshitsh) of Nichols and Heather Todd Mosley (Terrell) of Greenwood; a sister, Kim Willis of Callison; a brother, Tony Cooper (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach; eight grandchildren, Chase Brown, Skylar Brown, Peyton Mosley, Isabella Mosley, Bryson Mosley, Kaleb Brown, Kimber Brown and Sadie Grace Mosley; and his fur baby, Zoey.
Services will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 6-8 pm.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Heather Mosley, 1707 East Durst Avenue, Greenwood.
