Thelma Imogene �Jean� Chastain, 81, formerly of 146 Karlie Court, widow of H. L. Chastain died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Magnolia Manor. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Marietta Jordan Anderson. Jean retired from Grendel Mills and was of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving are a son, John Nelson Davis and his wife Kathi of Greenwood; two sisters, Nancy Canfield of Waterloo and Miriam Holbrooks of Seneca; three grandchildren, Heather Spence, Heidi Davis and Brad Davis; eight great grandchildren; a step grandchild; and two step great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646. The family is at the home of her son, John Davis, 102-A Briarwood Road, Greenwood, SC.
