Jean Estelle Stamey Walker, 76, of 130 Regal Oaks Drive, Hendersonville, NC and formerly of Waterloo, went home to be with her Lord and her dear husband, Fred Gerald Walker, on Sunday, May 3, 2009. Born in Union, she was a daughter of the late John Tony and Ellie Mae Minor Stamey. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant with the Greenwood Methodist Home (now Wesley Commons) and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are two daughters, Lori �Cricket� Walker of Hendersonville and Linda Carlisle of Flat Rock, NC; three grandchildren, Kimberly Nance, Ryan Carlisle and Cory Carlisle; two great grandchildren, Caleb Nance and Jacob Nance and a brother, Roy Stamey of Hendersonville.
