Obituary
Jerome Allen Ouzts, 71, of Ninety Six, husband of Patsy Horton Ouzts, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Self Regional Medical Center.
Born in Belton, he was a son of the late Allen Johnson Ouzts and Ruby Nell Ouzts. Jerome's love for working on cars lead him to a successful career in the mechanic automotive industry. Aside from his work he had a passion for weightlifting; competing in body building competitions, such as Mr. USA and Mr. SC; and being on the open road riding his motorcycle. Jerome was a US Army veteran and a member of Sandridge Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy; children, Suzann Ouzts (Tracie Horne), Angela Renee Ouzts (Bobby Jennings), Jamie Lee Ouzts; and John William Horton; sister, Peggy Ouzts Abney (Doug) and their sons, Eric and Jason Abney; brother, Denton Samuel Ouzts (Nancy) and their daughter, Kayleigh Chaney; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Ouzts Yackle.
