Jerry Dean Bradberry, 80, of 200 Sirrine Street, Ninety Six, husband of Joyce Brazell Bradberry, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his home.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Hugh Dorsey Bradberry and Lona Bell Gibson Bradberry. Jerry was a U. S. Navy veteran and was a retired electrician with Greenwood Mills. He was a member of the "chain gang" with the Ninety Six Wildcats for 42 years and was a member of Laurel Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Gladys McCarson Bradberry; a grandson, Bradley Wright; two brothers, Wayne and Larry Bradberry and a daughter-in-law, Kim Bradberry.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his children, Chandra Lea Rousey of Coronaca, Timothy Dean Bradberry (Myra) of Laurens, Tina Bradberry Haynie (Skip) and Brian Keith Bradberry, both of Ninety Six; a sister, Joan Vaughn (Jimmy) of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Cox officiating. Burial will be held in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6 to 8 pm.
The family is at the home of his son Keith Bradberry, 4914 Highway 246 South, Ninety Six.
