Obituary

Jerry Lee Davis, 72, of Saluda, passed away on October 6, 2025, at his home, as a result of heart failure.

Born in Washington, Missouri, he was the son of Marion and Doris Croney Davis.

Jerry was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Navy for four years after completing his high school education. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the owner-operator of "3D Concessions," as well as multiple other successful businesses, where he formed life-long friendships, alongside his wife and son. He volunteered with the Wildcat Marching Band at Ninety Six High School while his son was a student there, demonstrating his commitment to supporting youth and the arts. He was also a member of Hopewell Holiness Church in Saluda.

Jerry enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He found joy in playing Monopoly, often challenging family and friends alike. A devoted fan of television, he especially loved watching "Yellowstone," a show that he would watch time and time again. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna Smith Davis; son, Kevin Davis (Conner Spurgeon); stepdaughter, Beverly Wood; daughters, Ashley Miller, Jennifer Miller, Cynthia Young, and Stephanie Payne; a sister, Debbie Valentin (George); a brother, Carl Davis (Nancy); niece, Courtney Smith Rushton (Tanner); Nephew, Brandon Smith (Hannah); 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Davis.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Harley Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Louie Murray.

Please feel free to dress comfortably, just as Jerry would have wanted.
