Jerry Alan Lance, 75, of 161 Belle Rive Drive, Ninety Six, SC died Saturday, December 19, 2015. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Paul and Myrtice Sullivan Lance. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and was a US Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. Jerry retired from Winn-Dixie and was also the former owner of the New Market Convenience Store. Surviving is his son, Gregory Alan "Greg " Lance and his wife, Tiffany, of Chattanooga, TN; two daughters, Joanna "Jo " Lance of Greenwood and Kayren Jenkins of Eden, NC; son-in-law, Pat Hawley of Oconomowoc, WI; a sister, Geneva L. "Jean " Rogers of Columbia; a brother, Lamar Lance of Greenwood; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marty Hawley. Family members are at their respective homes.
