Jessica Diane Upton, 16, of 115 Fawnbrook Drive, died Friday, August 7, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Gerald and Tammy Woods Upton. Jessica was a rising senior at Emerald High School where she was a former member of the volleyball team. She was a member of First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Surviving are her parents of the home; a daughter Isabella Diane Boyce of the home; her fianc� Dalton Joseph Boyce, Jr. of Greenwood; grandparents Gary & Meredith Upton and Tandy & Diane Woods all of Greenwood; great grandparents Hugh and Ruth Teasley of Greenwood; two sisters: Meredith Casey Upton and Taylor Marie Upton, of the home; and a brother Gerald �A. J.� Upton, Jr., of the home. Pallbearers will be Tandy Woods, Jr., David Fuller, Dalton Boyce, Sr., Russell Boyce, Wallace Upton, Jason Woods and Jerry Carmack. The family is at the home.
