Jewell L. Adams Hughes, 75, of 204 Sloan Avenue, widow of Arthur B. Hughes, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at HospiceCare of the Piedmont.
Born in Saluda, she was the daughter of William O. and Christine Berry Adams. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Hughes loved gardening and her little yorkie, Pansy. She was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Renay Howard (John) of Greenwood; her son, Arthur B. Hughes (Lisa) of Spanish Fort, AL.; her grandchildren, Ashley Hansen, Caleb Hughes, Morgan Hughes, John J. Howard, IV; and her great grandchildren, Malaki Thomas and Alyssa Thomas.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dustin Sims officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Harley Funeral Home.
