James "Jim" Warren Evans, 84, husband of June Burden Evans, died Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Lexington Medical Center.

Born in Monroe, GA, he was a son of the late Ethel Lomax Evans Son. Jim was the owner of Concrete Services of Greenwood and served in the SC National Guard. He was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed golfing, working in the yard and music, with his favorite being beach music. Jim loved spending time with his family and always enjoyed hosting an annual July 4th celebration. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Jim is survived by his wife, June; children, Scott Evans (Cynthia), Mark Evans (Laura) and Clay Evans (Karen); a stepson, Marty McCall (Nancy); grandchildren, Ashlie Cromer (Joey), Sawyer Evans (Sarabeth); step grandchildren, Savannah Black (Christian), Kennedy Collins, Jack Hughes, Kasey Fain, Grayson McCall, Justin Byrd, Landon Byrd, Haylee Byrd and Kaylynne Byrd; great grandchildren, Emerson Cromer and Charlie Cromer; and step great grandchildren, Carter Black, Ellie Fain, Wrenlee McCall, Brooklyn McCall, Easton Fain and Emma Fain.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Micah Renfrow and the Rev. Jeff Lethco officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Marty McCall, Grayson McCall, Joey Cromer, Sawyer Evans, Mike Stevenson and Robert Deloach.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00-2:00 p.m.

It is encouraged that everyone in attendance please wear garnet and black.
