James Thomas "Jim" Milford, 62, of Waterloo, died at his home on Thursday January 18th.

Born in Abbeville on April 15, 1955, he was the son of the late Thomas J. Milford and Margaret Dodson Milford. Jim attended Dixie High School and began his work career with BiLo grocery stores. He later worked with CSX railroad and Federal Housing Administration. Most recently Jim has managed his own business.

Jim loved the lake. He was happiest just sitting on his back porch admiring the view or cruising on his pontoon boat. Jim loved life and he loved his family and friends. Everyone knew him as a fun loving guy who didn't mind working hard or playing hard.
Surviving are a sister, Jane M. Scott (Jerry), a brother, Andy Milford (Vickie), five nephews, Tommy Thomasson Sr (Sue), Keith Thomasson, Brad Milford (Chelsea), Brian Milford (Devin)and Nick Milford(Jana) and his loving canine companion and dear friend Brittany.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethlehem ARP Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Thomasson, Sr., Keith Thomasson, Brad Milford, Brian Milford, Nick Milford, and Albert Ashley.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
