J.L. Mack, 75, of 11431 Highway 221 S, Waterloo, died Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his home.

Born in Newberry, he was a son of the late Burr and Jennie Salters Mack. He was employed by Chick Williams Construction and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his two sisters, Sally Butler of Clinton and Shirley Sherfield of Ware Shoals; his brother, Clyde Mack of Waterloo; his niece and caregiver, Sally Ann Mack of the home and a number of other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Mack, Robert Earl "Joe" Mack and Willie Mack.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.

The family will receive friends before the service on Saturday from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The family members are at the respective homes.
