Joan Douglas Williams, 75, of 223 Lowell Street, Ninety Six, wife of Jessie Lanier Williams, died Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Wesley Commons Rehabilitation Center. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late William and Frances Bryant Douglas. She was retired from Greenwood Mills, Chalmers Plant, where she was a member of Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class. Surviving is her husband of the home; a daughter, Frankie Henderson and her husband, Jeff, of Anniston, AL; two sons, Travis Williams and his wife, Regina, and Sid Williams, all of Ninety Six; six grandchildren, John Clark, Jr., Jason Clark, Kristina McCary, Ashley Williams, Taylor Williams and Spencer Williams; ten great grandchildren and four nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Williams and her brother, Sonny Douglas.
