Joe Edward Dotson, 74, of 105 Dublin Road, husband of Barbara Ann Dotson,
died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late William Carl and Ethel Mae Christopher Dotson. He retired from Greenwood Mills, Harris Plant, a Shriner, and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are his daughters, Amy Lamb (Jim) and Kathy Parris (Terry), both of Spartanburg; step daughters, Rhonda Ervin (Jim) of Greenwood and Susan Scoggins of Burnsville. NC; brothers, Ronnie Dotson (Sue), Wayne Dotson (Judy); sister-in-law, Jean Dotson; grandchildren, Rollins Cattrell, Brandon Parris, Madison Parris, Kendall Ervin, Jordan Ervin, Brandace Gray, and Clayton Smith; and great grandchildren, Paityn Ervin, Ava Smith, Alexis Gray, Taylor Gray and Savannah Gray.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Carol Dotson, Arthur Crowe, and Clyde Crowe.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Craig McDaniel officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
