Joe Allen Minor, 60, of 401 Bond Avenue, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009, at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late George and Mable Holsonback Minor. He was formerly employed by Durst Plant of Greenwood Mills, Gunnells Marine and Greenwood City Fire Department. He was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church and attended Harris Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Kristina M. Hollingsworth of Abbeville and Samantha M. Linn of Greenwood; a sister, Frances Flaherty of Greenwood and two brothers Bobby Minor of Bradley and George �Skeeter� Minor of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Wideman.
