Willie �Joe� Rousey of 209 Glendale Avenue, husband of Mary Elizabeth Parnell Rousey, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at his home. Born in Elberton, GA, he was a son of the late Watson Rousey and Mae Beasley Rousey. He earned a degree in Business Management and retired from Eaton as a Machinist. Joe was of the Methodist faith. Surviving, in addition to the wife of the home, are a son Mike Rousey of Waterloo; a grandson, Scott Rousey of the home; three great grandchildren Clara, Madison, and Grayson Rousey all of Greenwood. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Rudder; two brothers: Jack and Bobby Rousey; and a grandchild, Jared Rousey. Pallbearers will be Eddie Rousey, Andy Rousey, Christopher Rousey, Joe Rotella, Jason Jarrett, and Mike Wilkie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 408 West Alexander Avenue � Greenwood, South Carolina 29646. The family is at the home.
