Obituary
Joel Lamar Orr, 66, of 244 Compass Point, Ninety Six, husband of Sandra "Sandy" Smith Orr, died on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his home.
Born in Panama City, FL., he was the son of the late Marshall and Theda Hooten Orr. He got his BA from Georgia Tech, received his Master's Degree in Business, and retired in regional sales management. Mr. Orr was a member of the Grand Harbor Men's Golf Association, South Carolina Golf Association, and First Church of Christ, Scientist.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home is his sister, Marsha Orr of Tallahassee, FL.
No services are planned.
Memorial donations may be made to the City Garden, c/o Greenwood City Garden Club, 310 Calhoun Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29649.
