Joey Wayne Foster, 49, of 731 Whitten Road, Waterloo, husband of Velma Darlene Holloway Foster, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of Bobby Wayne Foster and Annie Marie McClain Nelson. He was formerly employed with SteriLite and attended Augusta Highway Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife of Greenwood; his father of Waterloo; his mother and stepfather, Paul Nelson, of Piedmont; two daughters, Melissa Foster and Nikki Foster; a son, Joe Wayne Foster; a brother, Michael Foster and two grandchildren, Brianna Sweatt and Trevor Sweatt, all of Greenwood.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.

The family is at the home of his daughter, Melissa Foster, 818 Florida Avenue, Greenwood.
