John Dwight "Chip" Dilleshaw, 72, of Greenwood, widower of Peggy Jean McElroy Dilleshaw, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at his home.

Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late John and Lizzie Mae Weeks Dilleshaw. Chip was an U. S. Army veteran having served during Vietnam and retired from Greenwood Mills- Harris Plant.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Paula Roddy and a brother, Mike Dilleshaw.

Surviving are his children, Teasa Roddy (David) of Donalds and John "Danny" Dilleshaw of Greenwood; a brother, Ricky Dilleshaw (Joyce) of Greenwood; and grandsons, Jacob Roddy, and one on the way.

Services will be held at 3pm on Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7pm.
