John Q. Lyerly, 76, of 205 Union School Road, Bradley, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Savannah Heights Living Center, McCormick. Born in Hemingway, he was a son of the late Carley and Ashley Cox Lyerly. He was an appliance repairman and a member of Restoration Ministries. Surviving is a daughter, Connie Lynn Lyerly of the home; four sisters, Nina Cox of Hemingway, Mary Alexander of Columbia, Martha Harmon of Hemingway and Juanita Orvin of Charleston; three brothers, Jim Lyerly of Conway, Jerry Lyerly of Greenwood and Carley (Nickie) Lyerly of Charleston; and grandchildren, Crystal N. Hamrick Brown, Brittany L. Hamrick and Dillon C. Smith.
