John Paul Morris, 76, of 133 Paradise Lane, husband of Kathryn Hames Morris, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, he was a son of the late W. C. and Josie Lovelace Morris. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Adams Plant, and was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was attended Ninety Six Church of God. Surviving is his wife; daughter, Kathy Crawford and sons, Paul Morris and Donald Morris, all of the home; a sister, Alma Carswell of Hickory, NC; two brothers, James (Joyce) Morris of Greenwood and Joe (Jenness) Morris of Easley; granddaughter, Terri (Daniel) Lewis and great grandchild, Kasi Lewis, all of Abbeville. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Morris.
