John Wesley Noffz, 58, of Greenwood, husband of Angela "Angie" Beauford Noffz, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
Born on July 15, 1968 in Greenwood, he was a son of the late John Carroll Noffz and Carol Parkman Noffz.
Wesley was a simple man who was happiest outdoors under an open sky. He loved the quiet of nature, whether he was out kayaking, hunting, or spending hours on the water waiting on a catfish to bite. He also had a young at heart side that loved the simple thrill of riding go-carts.
He was a hardworking man who always stayed involved in his community through sports. Wesley spent years coaching his kids and guiding them all the way up until their high school years.
If you knewWesley, you knew his sense of humor. He was a jokester who loved to laugh and pull pranks on people, and one Christmas he dressed up as Santa Claus to bring a little extra joy to the season.
Above all else, Wesley was a devoted husband and father. His family meant more to him than anything in the world, and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Angie; his children, Cassidy Noffz and Conner Noffz; brother, Michael Noffz; sister, Delane Hood (Michael); sister-in-law, Terri Parkman (Robbie); mother and father-in- law, Walter and Patricia Beauford; nieces and nephews, Kinsley Noffz, Kayla Noffz, Mark Gonce (Lindsey), Matthew Gonce, Tanner Parkman (Meg), and Kinsli Parkman; aunt, Diane Noffz; and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Ouzts officiating.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
