John Wilson Ruley, Jr., 45, of 1015 Highway 34, died Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late John W. Ruley, Sr. and Mary Hawkins Ruley. He was employed by Chandler Construction for 27 years and attended Siloam Baptist Church. John was the President of the Lakelands Chapter of the Warlocks.
Surviving are his children, John Wilson Ruley, III "Wil'" (Haley Tullis) and Doug Hall (Kassie), both of Ninety Six; sisters, Belinda Witteborg (Nathan) of Ninety Six and Debbie Hasting (Andrew Kimsey) of Abbeville; was expecting his first grandson, Jasper Wilson Ruley; and his beloved dog, Jax.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Lewis and Johnette Calliham.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Reynolds and Rev. Jay Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be K.J. Stargel, Jesse Wilson, Eric Wheeler, Jr. Davis, David Murray, and Rico Adams.
Honorary escort will be members of the Warlock Motorcycle Club of the Lakelands.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
