Obituary
John Henry Seabolt, 80, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at his home.
Born in Commerce, GA, he was a son of the late Andrew Seabolt and Annie Mae Smallwood Moore. He was formally employed with Cardinal Health as the maintenance supervisor. John was an outdoorsman; enjoyed hunting and fishing; and visiting the mountains. He loved to make people laugh and loved his children and grandchildren tremendously.
He is survived by his children, Tammy Baughman (Chuck Nieman), John "Johnny" Seabolt, Jr., Melinda "Kathy" Barnett (Stacey), Thomas "Michael" Seabolt (Aleisha), and Melissa Ann Seabolt; grandchildren, Shayne Seabolt, Deliylah Seabolt, Taylor Garrison, Bradley McClinton, Ashley Gauvin, Jordan Tullis, Starlin Dalampasig, and Nevaeh Gary; great grandchildren, Anna, Emma, Bali; and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Seabolt; granddaughter, Catherine Yates; adoptive parents, Clyde and Christine Harvley; sisters, Judy Artis and Geraldine Pope; a brother, Bill Templeton; brother-in-law, Danny Pope; nephew, Scotty Pope; and great nephew, Dustin Pope.
