Johnnie Leon �Brooksy� Brooks Jr., 53, of 2327 County Line Road, died Saturday, August 31, 2013, at his home. Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Johnnie Leon Brooks, Sr. and the late Frances Nabors Brooks. Johnnie was a construction worker and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving is his father of Bradley; three sons, Tim Brooks (Melissa) of Greenwood, Chris Brooks of Ninety Six, and Joseph Brooks of Greenwood; a daughter Amber Brooks of Ninety Six; a sister Sharon Mendoza (Mario) of Bradley; a special nephew, Desmond Mendoza of Bradley; and a granddaughter, Emily Rae Brooks of Greenwood. Pallbearers will be Roger McAllister, Marty Horn, Robert Brooks, Kevin Smith, Martin Smith, and Corey Brooks. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greenwood, P.O.
