Johnnie Franklin Lowman, Jr., 82, of 909 Deadfall Road, husband of Felicia Styron Lowman, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in White Rock, SC, he was the son of the late Johnny Franklin Lowman, Sr. and Pearl Bouknight Lowman. Johnnie was a veteran of the Army National Guard having served during the Korea Conflict and a member of the American Legion. He retired from CPW and was a member of Harris United Methodist Church where he was in the Cooper-Reed Sunday School Class. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home is a son, Ronald Franklin Lowman and his wife Annette, of Seneca; three sisters, Jo Nell Hunnicut, Marlene Thomas and Ann Bosley, all of Joanna; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael McCarty, Robbie Gentry, Keith Coker, Norman Anderson, Al Free and Phil Jones. Honorary escort will be the members of the Cooper-Reed Sunday School Class. The family is at the home.
