On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, the Lord carried Johnny Ray Morgan home. He was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 2, 1967. In addition to his loving and devoted wife, Tammy, and youngest daughter, Katy Morgan and fiance� Will McClam, of the home, Johnny is survived by a son, Chris Morgan (Cricket) and daughter-in-law, Ashley, of Ninety Six; a daughter, Shayla Maggard and son-in-law, Matthew, of Chappells; four grandchildren, Carolyne Rae Horton, Brody Joshua Maggard and LillyAnna Grace Maggard of Chappells and Cole David-Ray Morgan of Ninety Six; his loving mother, Phyllis Reese of Woodruff; his mother-in-law, Sharon Evans, of Donalds; a grandmother, Daisy Elizabeth Evans of Ninety Six; two sisters, Sherry Godfrey and brother-in-law, Keith, Faye Tucker and brother-in-law, Marvin, of Woodruff; two brothers, James Morgan and wife, Annie, and Tommy Morgan and wife, Angie, of Woodruff; brothers-in-law, Robert Evans and wife, Angel, of Bradley and David Evans and wife, Natachia, of Ware Shoals; seven nephews, Jonathon Godfrey and wife, Ashley, of Woodruff, Travis Tucker of Woodruff, Eric Morgan of Greenwood, Isaiah Jonathon Godfrey of Woodruff, Dylan Wayne Evans, Brandon Evans, both of Ware Shoals and Dusty McAllister of Greenwood; four nieces, Tori Evans, Nicole Evans and Patricia Parcells of Bradley and Chelsea Evans of Ware Shoals; aunts and uncles, Brenda Culbertson of Woodruff, Ray and Peggy Gunnells of Honea Path, Buddy and Lois Owens and Tony and Angie Black of Ninety Six, and Robert and Diane Gunnells of Donalds, and Yvonne Stone of Woodruff; two cousins, Shane Culbertson of Woodruff and Wayne Wehunt and wife Debra, of Greenville, and his good friends and loving pet dachshunds, Maggie and Molly of the home. Johnny was welcomed by close family members who have already made it �Home� including his father, James Carroll Morgan of Woodruff; father-in-law, Rev. David Evans of Donalds; grandparents, Clarence Junior Evans of Ninety Six, James and Marcell Garrett of Woodruff; and stepfather Johnny Reese. Pallbearers will be David Evans, Jr., Ray Gunnells, Boogie Gunnells, Russell Balchin, Lee Hepler, Brian Stockman, Gary Hall and Bobby Evans. Honorary escort will be Johnny Fox, Tony Black and Roger Gunnells.
