John "Johnny" Carlisle Sullivan, 49, of 1609 Fifty Fourth Street, Valley, AL, husband of Karen Ward Sullivan, died Thursday, December 6, 2018.

Born in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Allen Carlisle Sullivan and Janice Faye Mabry Sullivan. John was an Army National Guard veteran and a supervisor for Norbord where he worked for 19 years. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Carolina Gamecocks.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, Jason Sheppard.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a daughter, Janice Sue Sullivan; two step children, James Sheppard (Amanda) and Jennifer Gillion; a brother, Jeff Sullivan (Lori); six step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and two nephews Peyton Sullivan and Dalton McClain.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Monday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Culbertson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Peyton Sullivan, Dalton McClain, Travis Nickles, Joey Sullivan, Kevin Knight and Jeff Nance.

The family will receive friends before the service from 11 am-1 pm.
