Miriam Jolean Leopard Lovell, 70, of 156 Whitten Road, widow of George Lovell, Jr., died Monday, December 6, 2010 at her home. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Ausbon and Myrtie Haston Leopard. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Lexington. Surviving are five children, Darlene Loveless of Greenwood, Joey Johnson of Saluda, Pamela Warren of Gilbert, Charlotte Martin of West Columbia and Tiffany Thomas of Pelzer; three sisters, Betty Butler of Saluda, Barbara Berry and Nancy Lovell, both of Ninety Six; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, George Lovell, III, a grandson, Lee Frye and her brother, James Leopard.
