Jose Felipe Ochoa, 57, husband of Elizabeth Mackie Ochoa, died Friday, October 9, 2015 at his home. Born in Mexicali, Mexico, he was a son of Maria Mata Gallegos and the late Joaquin Ochoa. Jose retired as a supervisor at Grede Foundry and of the Catholic faith. He was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran, where he served in Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom and a member of the F.R.A. Surviving are his wife of the home; two sons, Michael Ochoa (Chris Krause) of Elizabeth City, NC and Roger Ochoa (Stacey) of Norfolk, VA; two sisters, Maria Alcala of Rialto, CA and Juanita Gallegos of Santa Anna, CA; three brothers, Francisco Mata (Aida) of Colton, CA, Leonardo Alcala (Lydia) of San Diego, CA, and William Gallegos of Los Angeles, CA; and two grandchildren, Samantha and Jayden Ochoa of Norfolk, VA. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Veronica and Magdaleni Gallegos; a brother, Joseph Ochoa. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the HospiceCare of the Piedmont; 408 W.
