Joseph Walter Jones, 61, of 1010 Grace Street, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at his home. Born in Dillon, he was a son of the late Wheeler and Marie Haselden Jones. He was a graduate of Cheraw High School and was retired from the US Navy, having served during the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War. Surviving are two sisters, Sylvia Jean �Bobbie� Hansen of Greenwood and Maxine Warren of Easley and a brother, David Jones of Dillon. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Harriett Ann Jones and Eunice Johnson.
