Josephine Collins Arrowood, 75, of 220 Draper Street, widow of John Hubert Arrowood, Jr., died Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at her home.
She was a daughter of the late G.V. and Bertha Lee Addis Collins. She received her degree in psychology from Piedmont Technical College and retired from Greenwood Mills. She was a member of Cambridge United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Melissa Alexander of the home; two sisters, Ella Mae Williams of Sumter and Daisey Mae Overstreet of Clinton; a brother, Andrew Collins; seven grandchildren, Joshua Alexander, Kyle Alexander, Crystal D. Arrowood, Jonathan B. Arrowood, Robert J. Arrowood, Candice A. Arrowood and Michael D. Arrowood; and two great grandchildren, Kaitlyn White and Shawn White.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Clifton Arrowood.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Cambridge United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dan Smyth officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
