Joyce Marie Prewett Brown, 61, of Greenwood, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her home.
Born in Fort Wayne, IN, she was a daughter of the late Charles T. and Dorothy Howard Prewett. Joyce was self employed doula and was a tough, fun loving friend to all. She loved her family and fur babies very much and was a APA Pool Nine Ball champion. Joyce was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Prewett Tom Prewett and Mark Prewett; significant other, Mike Horne; and her fur baby, Chloe.
Surviving are her children, Joshua Owings, Jeremiah Owings, Kody Brown and Christopher Mitchell (Meagan); sisters, Bonnie Johnston, Ann Furnish, Linda Edds and Doris Cromer (Jimmy); a brother, Bruce Prewett; grandchildren, Brianna Owings, Joshua Owings, II, Darlene Merchant, Chayla Owings, Caylee Mae Owings, Jeremiah Owings, II, David Owings and Konner Owings; and her beloved fur babies, Bullet and Hennessy.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
