Joyce Evelyn Sanders Davis, 67, formerly of 2001 East Scotch Cross Road, widow of Barney Wayne Davis, Jr., died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Magnolia Manor. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Lalend Sanders and Agnes Albertson Stanfield. Joyce was raised by her stepmother, Evelyn Sanders. She was formerly employed by Greenwood Mills and was a member of Providence Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a member of Ladies Ministries and the Ladies Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Surviving are three sons, Richard Davis and his wife, Rene�, of Ninety Six, Jeffrey Davis and his wife, Amy, of Winston-Salem, NC and Schanen Davis and his wife, Donna, of Winnsboro, SC; three sisters, Billie Leopard and her husband, James, of Greenwood, Julia �Judy� Lucas of Clifton Park, NY and Veda Louise Harrelson of Spartanburg; a brother, Evans Sanders of Gray Court; five grandsons, Scott and Ryan Davis of Greenwood who were raised in the home, Noah Davis of Winston-Salem, NC, Kirk and Andy Davis of Winnsboro; several step grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wayne Erskine, Cecil Lucas, Tim Summey, Mike Knight, Gordan Pearson and Sheldon Reed. The family is at the home of her sister, Billie Leopard, 117 Foxcroft Drive, Greenwood, SC.
