Joyce Harvley Cook Dukes, 82, of Ninety Six, widow of James Dukes, died Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at her home.

Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Odell and Virginia Smith Harvley. Joyce retired from Greenwood Mills and was of the Holiness faith.

She was twice married, first to the late Clarence Cook and was preceded in death by her sister, Sybil Reynolds.

Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Nix of Ninety Six and Donna Alexander (John) of Hodges; four grandchildren, Phillip Trotter, Kimberly Rowe, Lisa Gallman and Michael Medlock; seven great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Rick Hendricks officiating.

Family members are at their respective homes.
