Joyce Rebecca Rushton Elliott, 69, of 408 Daniel Road, Hodges, wife of Ashby Elliott, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at her home.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late George Bell and Frances Rebecca McClain Rushton. She was a retired CNA from Wesley Commons and attended Hodges Church of God.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter, Melissa Cleveland (Clay) of Greenwood; a sister, Belle Townsend of Hodges; two grandchildren, Courtney Wagner (Ethan) and Abby Caldwell, both of Hodges; and a great grandson, Chance Wagner.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Flo Bates and Ann Rushton, and two brothers, Marvin Rushton and Billy Rushton.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Caldwell officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Melissa, 205 Oak Ridge Drive, Greenwood, SC 29649.
