Joyce Kennedy Fritz, 76, formerly of Persimmon Court, Greenwood SC, wife of Albert George Fritz, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Self Regional Hospital of Greenwood.

Born in Catonsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Sinclair Eugene and Virginia Grant Kennedy, and stepdaughter of the late Hilda Reed Kennedy. Joyce was retired from a career with Bank of America and brought "joy" to everyone whom crossed her path.

Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are a daughter and son in law, Kerri Fritz Strackbein and Matthew Joseph Strackbein of Longmont, Colorado; two god children, Lori France of Ellicott City, MD and Christopher Conley of Stevensville, MD; one step sister, Linda Hoza of Lakewood Ranch, FL; cousins Douglas France of Ellicott City, MD and Sandy Saville of Wesminster, MD; and her "sisters", Kathleen Rawlings, Carol Cardarelli, and all of the Strawberry Girls that gave so much love and laughter to Joyce's life.

A celebration of life will be held at her home in Greenwood, on a date yet to be determined in December. Another gathering will be held in Annapolis, Maryland after the first of the new year.
