Peggy Joyce Sanders Hyman, 76, of 802 James Street Newberry, widow of Billy Hyman, died Thursday, November 21, 2013, at her home. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Claude Sanders and Bessie Parnell Sanders. Joyce was formerly employed by A.F.F. in Newberry and was a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church and the senior Sunday school class. Surviving are three daughters, Vivian Hyman of the home, Wanda Kingsmore (Larry) of Greenwood, and Sandra Moore (Jerry) of Newberry; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Andrew Carmack. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Glenn Street Baptist Church, 300 Glenn St, Newberry, SC 29108 and to Blue Ridge Hospice, 110 Ministry Dr, Irmo, SC 2906. The family is at the home.
