Joyce Tweed Kyzer, 82, of Ninety Six, widow of Jack Henry Kyzer, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Grace Roach Tweed. Joyce retired from Park Seed after working 15 years and was an avid Gamecock football and ladies' basketball fan. She enjoyed crafting, finding vendors for her Sunday school craft shows, cooking, reading, puzzles and sitting on her porch. Joyce's favorite time was Christmas because she enjoyed holiday music, baking and her Santa collection. She loved spending time with her family and you could always hear her singing "I'm a Little Tea Pot" to her grand fur baby, Charlie. Joyce was a devout Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Ninety Six where she was in the Ebbie McCarthy Sunday school class.

Surviving are her children, Jennifer Myers (Charles) and Joi Kyzer; sister, Martha Fox (Bruce); brother, Jim Tweed; grandchildren, Patrick Myers and Jaclyn Myers; sister-in-law Shirley Sprouse (Jimmy); numerous nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Francis Pratt.

Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse and Rev. Michael How officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Myers, Jon Pratt, Shane Sprouse, Michael Collins, Charles Myers and Ben Sprouse.

Honorary escort will be Angie Simmons, Michelle Collins and the members of the Ebbie McCarthy Sunday school.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 1-2pm.
