Joyce Ann Scott McFarland, 81, 103 Allis Avenue, Ninety Six, widow of Marvin C. McFarland, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born March 26, 1930 in Plainville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Carl L. and Nell Gunn Scott. She was retired from Monsanto and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte S. Brannon and Olyria S. Wilson. Surviving are two sons, Randy S. McFarland (Cheryl) and M. Dennis McFarland (Vickie); and a daughter, Marcia M. Scarboro (Chuck), all of Ninety Six; six grandchildren, Greg McFarland (DeeDee), Jennifer M. Alexander, Angie Creswell (J. W.), Lacey McFarland, Brandon Crawford and Matthew Scarboro; and five great grandchildren.
