Jacob Tinsley �J.T.� Dillashaw, 73, of 1714 Five Notch Road, husband of Dorothy �Dot� Dunlap Dillashaw, departed this life for his heavenly home on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in McCormick on December 22, 1940, he was a son of the late Jim Eddie Dillashaw and Sadie Brown Dillashaw Young. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War and retired from Greenwood Mills � Durst Plant, where he was in the Quarter Century Club. J.T. was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church and Margaret Henderson Sunday school class. He was twice married, first to the late Leila E. Dillashaw from which he is survived by two daughters; Janice Powell (Michael) of Elkin, NC and Lisa McMahan (Matthew) of Donalds. He is also survived by his beloved second wife Dorothy D. Dillashaw of the home; three brothers, Curtis Dillashaw of McCormick, Claude Dillashaw of Bradley, and Clyde Dillashaw of Dayton, VA; and seven grandchildren, Shelby, Isaac, and Eli Powell and Angel, Jacob, Steven, and Mary McMahan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and James Dillashaw; and step brother, Randy Young. Pallbearers will be Nick Brown, Bill McAlister, Clifton Eakin, Tripp Owens, Tom McKellar, John Henderson, Marion Henderson, and Tommy Henderson. Honorary escort will be the members of the Margaret Henderson Sunday School class along with Hilton Dodgen, Richard Cline, James Jackson, Harold Foxworth, James Lawton, Bill Metts, and Charlie Luquire.
