Juanita Dorsey Conner, 91 of Emerald Gardens, formerly of 409 Bolt Avenue, Greenwood widow of Remer C. Conner, Jr., passed away Friday, April 25, 2025.
Born in Clinton, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. Dorsey Sr. and Laura Stephenson. Juanita found her passion in the cosmetology industry, where she flourished as a talented beautician. Her vibrant personality and skilled hands brought joy to her clients, many of whom became lifelong friends. She later went on to work at Capsugel until her retirement. A devoted mother, Juanita was known for her love of family and friends, always creating a welcoming environment for those she adored. She had a deep passion for gardening, was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed watching tennis, sharing her enthusiasm for sports with those around her. Juanita was a member of Callie Self Memorial Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Stephens, Jean Price, Nell Hartman and Robert Dorsey and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are her sons, Mike Bartley (Pam) and Steve Conner (Rhonda); grandchildren, Nicole Bartley Munnerlyn (Will), Kristi Thompson and Ashley Hallback; great grandchildren, Ryan Osbey, Tyler Osbey, Krislyn Osbey, Conner Hallback, Cameron Hallback, Aubrey Kate Munnerlyn, Margaret Munnerlyn, Max Munnerlyn and Harlan Munnerlyn; and a great-great grandchild Kobi Ray Osbey.
