Juanita Luker Davenport, 84, of 110 Hillside Drive, widow of Joseph Cecil Davenport, died Monday, March 26, 2018 at HospiceCare of the Piedmont.

Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Willie Eugene and Laura Price Luker. She was retired from Pro-Med and was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Vickie Gorham (Cliff Laughlin), Ronnie Davenport (Vickie), Joe Davenport (Wanda Parnell), all of Greenwood, and Cecil "Cek" Davenport, Jr. (Tracy Gordon) of Statesville, NC; two sisters, Lorena Agnew of Greenwood and Naomi "Tiny" Alverson of Hodges; a brother, Melvin E. Luker of Greenwood; grandchildren, Anne McFaddin (Mike) of Ninety Six, Michael Davenport (Jennifer), Peggy Gorham-Cromer (Jeff Constant), Rodney "RC" Davenport (Jenny), all of Greenwood, Patricia Davenport-Jacobs (Craig) of Jacksonville, FL., JP Davenport of Blackshear, GA., and Mark Davenport (Rachel) of Ladson, SC; sixteen great grandchildren; and special life long friends, Donna Robertson and Brenda "BP" Parker.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Harley Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. RC Davenport and Rev. Bud Tumblin officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorials Gardens.

Pallbearers will be great grandchildren, Isaac Davenport, Gabe Davenport, Kaminer Cromer, Stokes Cromer, Peyton McFaddin, and Skyler McFaddin.

Honorary escort will be grandchildren, Anne McFaddin, Michael Davenport, Peggy Gorham-Cromer, Patricia Davenport-Jacobs, Rodney Davenport, JP Davenport, and Mark Davenport.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.

The family members are at their respective homes.
