Juanita Stone McAllister, 83, of 204 Mulberry Street, widow of Walter H. �Junior� McAllister, Jr., died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Hospice House. Born in Elberton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Charlie E. and Lula Wood Stone. She retired from KEMET and was a member of Panola United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Darrell McAllister of Greenwood; a daughter, Linda Banks of Greenwood; four sisters, Barbara McElroy, Frances Owings, Mattie Horne, and Addie Lou Earnhardt, all of Greenwood; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests that they be omitted and memorials be made to Hospice House; 408 West Alexander Avenue, Greenwood, 29646 or Panola United Methodist Church; P.O. Box 1102, Greenwood, 29648. The family is at the home of her daughter Linda; 111 Channing Drive, off of Mulberry Street.
